Your home is your sanctuary, and it is important to select a contractor who will take great care when they are completing your interior painting project. We ask customers to remove pictures from the walls prior to our arrival, and also to consolidate smaller items such as knick-knacks on tables. We start by moving furniture as needed, and covering all of the flooring with drop cloths. We keep our interior drop cloths separate from our exterior drop cloths to ensure that the tarps themselves aren't bringing in a mess. If ceilings are being painted, or if a lot of sanding is being done as is the case with larger drywall repairs, we cover all of the client's furniture with disposable painter's plastic. Many of our painters free hand their cut-ins, but prior to rolling the walls, we tape off the top of the base molding when needed to prevent roller splatter. This isn't necessary in all situations, but depending on the products being used it is sometimes required and we know when it is necessary. We straighten up at the end of each day so as to not leave the client's house a mess in between the end of our work day and the beginning of the next work day. When the project is complete, we wipe off any surfaces that may have gotten dusty, and we sweep or vacuum the floors. Our preferred products include Sherwin-Williams CHB for ceilings, which is a flat white paint with exceptional touch up and hide capabilities; Sherwin-Williams Emerald Urethane trim enamel for painted woodwork; and Sherwin-Williams SuperPaint, Cashmere, Duration or Emerald for walls. We take great pride in our work and we want your home to be as clean when we leave as it was when we arrived.
